I got that nice, orange one, and to day is the day. I just can't wait to se what you other creative people have made :)
I must admit, I had a hard time trying to figure out what beads to combine this beautiful, orange box with. I was placing it next to lots and lots of different beads and I draw a couple of little pictures to put in the box, thinking it was time to try out some resin.
I was kind of twisting my brain, but suddenly, it was coffetime! Caramba! ;)
I did try out the resin, but with coffebeans in it. The rest of the coffebeads in the necklace is glassbeads that look like coffeebeans, not real beads like in the pendant. I also got to try out some recycling. Some of the copper used to be a plate beneath a fire place.
And then it's time to check out all the other beautiful creations. Enjoy!

very cool!
SvarSlettWow! What a great necklace. Yep, copper and red is going to be next on my "color combos to try" list.
SvarSlettCOFFEE! My favorite! I like the color palette you chose for your shadow box! I wondered how resin would work out in the box, and yours came out perfectly! Nice work! Thank you for playing along! Enjoy hopping around the blogs today! Please feel free to add your photos to the Flickr group I created for the participants: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1740275@N20/
SvarSlettSleek is the word that came to mind. So smooth and perfect.Very nice. I wish I could read your whole blog!
SvarSlettCilla
With cream and sugar please!
SvarSlettVery sweet!
Nice work...
Really beautiful piece - colors come together perfectly, and the pendant is amazing.
SvarSlettVackert halsband med härliga varma färger. Hänget med kaffebönorna ser väldigt välgjort och tjusigt ut.
SvarSlettOh, I want this necklace! I love coffee, and I love the way you incorporated the pieces together. I have not explored resin yet, but I can see it needs to be on my to do list. This is a stunning piece!!
SvarSlettwhat a great piece you made! Clever and a great color combo. And me love coffee anyway!
SvarSlettCoffee beans! How cool!
SvarSlettWOW! Your coffee beans match your beads so perfectly! This is fantastic! Great colors!
SvarSlettYum! I don't love orange, but I love coffee. The color through the resin looks so rich. And I like the added texture of the wrapped links. Nice touch.
SvarSlettThat is gorgeous! What a great idea!
SvarSlettWonderful! Even for someone who does not like coffee, I almost want to drink a cup! You've created a really integrated and fascinating piece!
SvarSlettLove the coffee beans, what a brilliant idea. Love the color, the beads, and the style of the rest of the necklace. Great piece.
SvarSlettLooking at this while enjoying some iced coffee. Both are great!
SvarSlettI'm a coffee lover! Great job with the resin. Your piece looks so warm and rich with the colors you've picked.
SvarSlettCute, Cute, Cute, - I can see me wearing this!
SvarSlettOh boy! Coffee! Real coffee beans! Can it be better? Is the smell incapsulated with the resin, or can you still hint it? I would love to wear a necklace that smells subtly of coffee. This one is pretty pretty pretty. Orange and brown, how seventies :-). And the fire-place recycling looks great. Gillestuga? It's a Swedish word for a particular room in the house. Is it called that in Norweigan also?
SvarSlettVery Caramba indeed!
this really works. brown, dark orange and copper- perfect. coffee- perfect. resin in the enamel box- perfect. getting to see the inside of the box even after filling it-perfect. and i love those thick copper elements!
SvarSlettMalin: Nei, det er ikke et uttrykk jeg er kjent med, men vi har sikkert noe tilsvarende...:)
SvarSlettGreat job! I was nervous about using the resin.
SvarSlettFantastic necklace in every way :)!
SvarSlettYou've put me in the mood for some coffee! Very classy and I love how everything came together, from your recycling to the resin and the fun coffee bean beads and beans!
SvarSlettHa det!
Very creative! I considered using resin in mine, but then decided my idea worked better without it. Would love another box to try that out though! Love the copper with the orange box. Great job!!
SvarSlettYes, I can say like others: it's beautiful, creative, stylish, charming. This necklace is one of my favorites in this game. Congrats!
SvarSlettLove the design. I can smell the coffee by just looking at it.
SvarSlettSo cool! I never would have thought to use coffee beans! And it is great to see the use of resin with the box!
SvarSlettLove it! I just adore coffee! I love how you put this piece together and filled the bezel with resin and coffee beans :D xo Genea
